UGC: All you Need to Know & How to Use it ❤️‍🔥 + Wellness Catch Up!

While I was soaking up the sun and enjoying our very first wellness retreat and my first 15 days off in another country (which was AMAZING!) I was thinking a lot about what I’m bringing back home. I like to go away and do a little self-reflecting, what I can improve on and how I can make myself and us all happier in this ever-changing wild online world. 

Here’s some things I’m bringing back from our Wellness Retreat:

  • The slower-paced days. Half of the time we are ‘in a rush’ because someone else is ‘in a rush’ to get something done. Slow down, this is not a race, this is your wellbeing and quality of work and life. 

  • People pleasing too much is not healthy. As much as we want everyone happy all the time that is quite simply not possible and it shouldn’t be the goal.

  • Less screen-time! Wifi was dreadful so going to the 'best wifi spot’ for checking in was a dream I didn’t think I needed.

  • Enjoyment! Somewhere in-between I forgot how lucky I am to be living the life I once dreamed of. Gratitude came back in my pocket.

Now, let’s get into UGC. 

UGC stands for User Generated Content and this content is created by a person/customer/creator specifically for the brand for the purpose of the promotion of the product or service. UGC is usually very original, raw and has a ‘normal’ and authentic approach. This type of content can be very beneficial for the use of social media feeds, sponsored ads, testimonials, reviews, podcasts and much more. 

Who is UGC for?

Business owners and online creators who are lacking identity, personality and a sense of community on their feed. This is also great for online creators who are struggling with ideas for shooting and creating content for their social media platforms.

  • UGC creation via UGC talent outside the agency: 3 - 10 pieces of content per month
