3 Strategy Points to Consider in 2023 for IG and TikTok

1. Revisit your overall goals & set new ones

A great way to measure your 2022 success is by going over your reports and making clear notes on what performed well, what didn’t and why. Your analytics don’t lie, they show the real indication on what YOUR audience wants to see more of. Your goals may have also changed, make sure you think about your 5 year plan as well as plans for Valentines.

You want to make sure you know your WHY and your content follows through. Grab our brand new Manifestation Sheets to set your personal & business goals with a beaut bonus: Canva Vision board template to fill! 😍

2. Analyse your content style

Our client strategies from 2021 to 2023 are completely different. Maybe you’re due an upgraded way of how you showcase your content. Low views doesn’t always mean a bad idea. Majority of the time it’s just not showcased enough times and not in a way your audience resonates with anymore.

If your content is no longer in-tune with what you want to be doing - change it! If something is not performing as a still-post anymore, how can you showcase the same message in a different way e.g a carousel, a voice-over in a Reel/TikTok video format? If you’re feeling lost, I got you, book onto one of our 1:1 Consultations! Let’s chat. 😍

3. Don’t be afraid to experiment

This is your year to step out the comfort zone and review your strategy and start experimenting with the types of content you post. What features are you using and which social platforms are you on? This year your authenticity, personality and niche will be the driver for your brand/feed.

Ask yourself how consistently are you posting and how does this reflect in your sales/followers? TikTok’s maximum video length has grown to 10 minutes, meaning talking videos and long-form videos are leading in 2023. Short videos are staying, but make sure you have the above 3 points covered before you post!

New features will pop up, there will be new ways of sharing content, don’t let this change your WHY and remember, it’s important that some posts are there for selling purposes, some for brand-building and some for trust etc. One post won’t always hit all strategy points - and that’s OK.

Lastly my biggest 2023 tip: Stay authentic, experiment, start content creating, batch film your content, get a Monthly Content Calendar and spend more time doing the fun part of your job.

Lots of love,
